Healthy eating is very important to me! I believe in instilling healthy eating habits in your children, encouraging them to try new foods, and even growing some of our own food in our garden. We also take the time to prepare and enjoy healthy snacks together, fostering a positive relationship with food.
I participate in the 4C's Food Program and serve nutritionally balanced meals and snacks. I receive training every 6 months and home visits every 3 months from their staff regarding meal planning, food preparation, health, and nutrition.
I serve a morning snack and lunch. Each day, I offer fruits, vegetables, and whole-grain foods. Manners are also taught and practiced during this time. Many of the foods we eat are organic.
